Sterling Seacrest Pritchard is the result of the 2021 merger of the two premier specialty insurance brokerage and risk management firms based in Georgia – Sterling Seacrest Partners and Pritchard & Jerden. The combination of these two legacy firms whose origins date back to 1960 has created the largest privately-held independent insurance brokerage firm in Georgia and one of the fastest growing privately held insurance brokerage firms in the Southeast.

He gained experience in Employee Benefits and Commercial Lines before becoming a Property and Casualty Client Advisor in 2024.
Nnamdi is a driven individual who is eager to get involved in both professional development and community outreach opportunities. He serves as SSP’s sponsorship ambassador for Young Risk Professionals. He is also a Young Agents Board Member for Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia, Inc. as well as a member of the Smyrna Business Association. Nnamdi has received a Qualified Commercial Lines Specialist designation from Total CSR. He is also currently pursuing additional industry related designations and certifications.
Within his community, Nnamdi is involved in Operation Hope’s 1 Million Black Businesses Initiative, which aims to start and grow 1 million black-owned businesses by the year 2030. He also participates in Atlanta Great Strides, an organization united in the support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis, raise awareness, and make a positive impact in the lives of those with CF.

A graduate of the accounting program at The Defiance College, Jim began his career as an auditor and CPA, later making the move into insurance, working with clients like Dana Corporation, Libbey Owens Ford, American Cancer Society, and the PGA TOUR.
Philanthropy and community involvement have long been important to Jim. He presently sits on the Board of Directors for both Assurex Global and the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers and serves on the Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf Committee. Hunter began his insurance journey as an agency intern after receiving advice from several business mentors at Florida State University. Hunter went on to earn Risk Management and Insurance and Real Estate degrees from FSU.
Hunter’s other most noted accolade from his experience at FSU was as a quarterback during the 2013-2014 football season, where the Seminoles clinched the 2014 BCS National Championship.
Active in his community, Hunter is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors and the Suncoast Utility Contractors Association. He is also involved in several non-profit organizations, including Feeding Tampa Bay and Hillsborough Education Foundation.

Matt Ford joined SSP in 2024 as the Director of Producer Development. Matt has several decades worth of experience in the insurance industry working with Amerisure Insurance where he began his career as an Underwriter Trainee. He went on to become Senior Vice President at Amerisure where he ran the Field Marketing & Underwriting and Partnerships operations. Through his career, he has gained experience in several industries including construction, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Having first connected with SSP leaders when he opened the Atlanta-based branch of Amerisure, Matt was recruited to SSP to help develop client advisors early on in their career. “One thing I’ve always enjoyed is developing people,” Matt said. “[The role] seemed like a great opportunity to help the next generation become successful.”

Douglas L. Rieder is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Sterling Seacrest Pritchard. Doug has over 30 years of experience in providing risk management, surety, and commercial/professional insurance solutions for construction and real estate clients.
He has been a leader in the Construction Services Practice since co-founding the firm. He provides risk management, surety, and insurance solutions to hundreds of commercial contractors, including many national firms. Prior to entering the agency business, Doug held several senior surety underwriting and management positions with insurance companies, including The Home Insurance Company and the Reliance Insurance Company.
Doug received a Master of Science in Finance from Georgia State University in 1991 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University in 1986. Doug also received his Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®) designation in 2014. CRIS is a specialized curriculum focusing on the insurance and risk management needs of construction projects and contractors. Those who complete the program certify their knowledge of construction insurance and risk management and their dedication to the industry.
As a thought leader, Doug has authored numerous articles on insurance and surety topics. He has been an active guest lecturer on such issues for the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Associated General Contractors, the Construction section of the Atlanta Bar Association, the American Subcontractors Association, and Southern Polytechnic University. Through these associations, he has also served on the board of the Georgia chapter of ABC and various committees.
Doug has been a long time member of Liberty Mutual’s national Surety Producer Advisory Board. In 2020, he also helped organize Craft Bank, a high-touch and technologically advanced Buckhead-based business bank, where he serves as a board and credit committee member. Craft Bank is one of only four banks to be chartered and capitalized in 2020. Since that time the bank has profitably grown to $250 million in assets. Craft is the third bank with whom Doug has been associated. Doug has also served on the board of a 70-year-old employee-owned general contracting firm for 8+ years and was recently named Chairman of the Board as the company transitioned from founder led to management / employee leadership. Doug has also been sought out as an expert witness and consultant on several surety litigations.

Previously, Gina worked for National Pain Care as their Director of Human Resources as well as holding a variety of roles for the Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee. Gina earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Business Administration Degree from The Citadel.
Originally from South Carolina, Gina now lives in Smyrna with her husband, Javi, and their two sons, Jordan and Ander. Gina enjoys watching her sons participate in their soccer, baseball, and football games.

Mike Roman joined SSP in 2024 as a Client Advisor based in Birmingham. He has twenty years of experience as a commercial risk consultant and insurance broker.
Mike began his career in insurance in 2004. He spent nearly 14 years with Willis Towers Watson, formally HRH, where he handled risk programs for middle market and large corporations, including a Fortune 1000 publicly-traded REIT. He has experience in a variety of industries including construction, healthcare, and retail, as well as expertise in directors and officers liability (D&O), cyber liability, and firearms insurance. Mike holds certifications as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) as well as a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) from the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance.
Before joining the insurance industry, Mike earned a Navy ROTC scholarship and graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with Distinction. Upon graduation, he reported to Pensacola Naval Air Station to begin his military service as a Naval Aviator. During his time in the Navy, he earned two Air Medals, the Navy achievement Medal, and numerous other awards. After his service in the Navy, Mike flew as a pilot with American Airlines for several years before changing careers to risk consulting. In 2018, he was recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal as a Veteran of Influence.
Born and raised in Maryland, Mike resided in many places around the U.S. during his time in the Navy, before settling in Birmingham. He now enjoys spending time with his two teenage children, golfing, and competitive pistol shooting.

Mike Schnider joined SSP in 2024 as a Client Advisor based in Atlanta. He has extensive experience in sales and insurance, particularly within the transportation and manufacturing industries, and he specializes in Trade Credit Insurance.
Mike has worked in sales since 2004, when he started his professional career with a mortgage lender. He later worked for FedEx as a Sales Executive, handling account management and logistics. In 2015, Mike joined the insurance business as a Trade Risk Consultant for Allianz Trade, where he worked his way up to Sales Vice President. Over the course of his career, Mike has received several sales awards from each of his previous employers.
Mike joined SSP when he decided to make the switch to a brokerage firm in order to offer his clients more lines of insurance. “I have been building relationships and trust with my clients for the past decade, consulting on one line of coverage – trade credit insurance,” Mike said. “I am excited to now be able to offer them all of the other commercial lines as well.”
Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Mike moved to the U.S. when he was 14 years old. He went on to attend Georgia Southern University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a focus in sales management. Mike moved to Atlanta after graduating from college, and he now resides in Chamblee with his wife, son, and their two dogs.

After gaining several years of experience in surety underwriting, Katie decided to switch to producing to help clients find solutions to their needs. Having worked with SSP during her time as an underwriter, Katie felt SSP would provide her with the resources to grow as a producer and effectively work with clients.
